Job Title: Permanent Part Time Cellar Door Attendant
Location: Chalk Hill Wines, McLaren Vale
Hours: 30 Hours per week
Availability: Weekend availability essential
About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic wine professional to join our team. As the face of our winery, you will provide exceptional customer experiences through wine tastings, sales, and storytelling,
while maintaining a welcoming and professional cellar door environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and informative wine tastings for guests
- Promote and grow our wine club, drive new memberships, and manage relationships with our top members.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and build rapport with visitors
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the cellar door and tasting areas
- Support events, off-site activations, promotions and out of regular trading hours work as needed
About You
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for wine and creating memorable experiences
- A strong sales acumen,
with a track record of selling wine in a retail or winery environment
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Physically fit, with an ability to carry at least 16kg at a time.
- The confidence and ability to work in one of the regions busiest sites and host multiple tasting groups at a time.
- Must be available to work weekends, holiday periods and occasional public holidays
- WSET Qualifications or Similar (Desirable, not essential).
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
