THE UNITING CHURCH IN AUSTRALIA PROPERTY TRUST About the Role Uniting Church in Australia, Queensland Synod is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Child Care Worker to join our early learning team. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children by providing high-quality care, supporting play-based learning and creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing workplace.

You will work collaboratively with educators, children and families to support children's learning, development and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality care and supervision for children. Support engaging, play-based learning experiences.

Build positive and respectful relationships with children and families. Assist with daily routines, activities and learning programs. Support children's emotional, social and educational development.

Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment. Work collaboratively with educators and centre leadership. Follow relevant early childhood education, child safety and workplace policies.

Contribute to the implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Maintain accurate documentation and support National Quality Standards requirements.

About You We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children and committed to creating positive learning experiences.

You will ideally have: Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA-approved equivalent. Previous experience in an early childhood education or childcare environment.





Knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A caring, patient and respectful approach.

Commitment to child safety, inclusion and wellbeing. Current Queensland Blue Card, or willingness to obtain one. Current

First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification, or willingness to obtain the required certifications. What We Offer Full-time employment.
