The Role
Are you a passionate about creating versatile content that will make a genuine impact?
You believe in the power of turning complex ideas into content that builds trust and grows an audience. This is your chance to step up, own your content and campaigns, and join a passionate, purpose-led team during an exciting period.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role gives you real ownership over our content and campaigns,
from thought leadership pieces and sales collateral through to our social and email channels. You'll turn complex, technical topics into content that's accessible, builds trust and grows our audience, while managing external partners for more involved pieces of work.
It's a varied role within a small, collaborative team, so you'll move comfortably between long-form writing and quick-turn production work, drawing on resources from agencies to AI to get things done efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Own our content calendar and campaigns, from thought leadership content to sales collateral
- Manage our social and email channels, using HubSpot to keep everything running smoothly
- Create day-to-day design assets, including social tiles, factsheet updates and one-pagers using Adobe and/or Canva
- Assist with sales collateral such as impact studies and capability statements using Adobe or Canva
- Translate complex, technical topics into clear and accessible content that builds trust with our audience
- Build strong working relationships with subject matter experts and stakeholders across the business
- Manage external partners and agencies for larger or more complex projects
- Use a mix of resources, from agencies to AI tools, to work efficiently as part of a small team
- Contribute ideas on what we should be creating, not just execute on briefs
About You
We're looking for someone with a background in content marketing ready for their next step.
This role calls for a well-rounded skill set, so it won't suit someone who wants to focus purely on social media or comes from a design-only background.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 2-4 years experience in a Marketing role with a focus on content development
- Confident using Adobe Creative Suite or Canva to produce branded assets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring consistency across all marketing campaigns, communications and brand assets
- Social and email marketing experience, ideally using HubSpot or a similar platform
- Ability to build strong, professional relationships across multiple teams
- Experience in managing and coordinating external partners or agencies
- Comfortable with a varied week, moving between long-form writing and quick production jobs
- Ability to multi-task and change direction when needed
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Degree in Marketing or similar
- Experience in B2B marketing and lead generation
- Digital marketing experience (Google Ads, LinkedIn advertising)
- Familiarity with content management system platforms (e.g. WordPress) and basic HTML/CSS
- Basic video editing skills (e.g. trimming clips, simple transitions)
Our head office is based in Brisbane; however, we're open to remote applications, as we also have remote team members across Australia. The marketing team connects regularly online, with quarterly in-person get-togethers.
