About the Role
This is a fantastic chance for someone with a background in sales administration or customer service who is looking to fast-track their career toward a Account Manager role. You'll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of national and cross-regional clients, working closely with National Account Managers to keep service, pricing and communication running smoothly.
Day to day, you'll:
- Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and manage regular contact cycles
- Resolve customer queries on pricing, service, accounts and invoicing
- Maintain accurate customer data and documentation across internal systems
- Coordinate service delivery with branch operations and support teams
- Support renewals, contract variations and quotes alongside National Account Managers
- Produce weekly and monthly reporting on customer service activity and performance
This role has been specifically designed as a stepping stone into account management — genuine progression is on the table for the right person.
About You
- You aspire to grow into an Account Manager role and want to be backed to get there
- Strong communicator, confident building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail and administrative accuracy
- Strong Excel skills
- Prior experience in sales administration, customer service or a coordination role
- Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced commercial environment
