i-Help Disability Services (IHDS) is seeking expressions of interest from reliable, experienced support workers for potential opportunities in the Acheron and Alexandra region.

We are a registered NDIS provider delivering Supported Independent Living and community supports, backed by RN-led clinical oversight. We focus on matching workers to the people they support and building consistent teams where positive relationships can grow.

About the opportunity

We’re looking for workers who take the time to understand a person -their routines, preferences, communication style and what matters to them. You will bring patience, sound judgement and a calm, respectful approach, alongside the ability to maintain clear professional boundaries.

Depending on the agreed support arrangements, your role may include:

- Supporting daily routines, personal care and household tasks.
- Assisting with community access, appointments and activities the participant enjoys.
- Providing medication assistance in line with training and documented instructions.
- Following individual support plans and agreed behaviour support strategies.
- Completing accurate progress notes and reporting changes or concerns promptly.
- Encouraging choice and independence while respecting the person’s home and preferences.

About you

You will bring

- Experience supporting people with autism, psychosocial disability or complex support needs.
- A person-centred,



trauma-informed approach.
- The ability to respond calmly when someone is distressed and follow agreed support strategies.
- Solid communication skills and confidence working independently.
- Reliability and availability to commit to a consistent roster.
- A willingness to learn the individual’s preferences and adapt your approach.

Experience with personal care, mobility assistance and physical health support will be valued. Applicants living in Acheron, Alexandra or within a practical travelling distance are encouraged to apply. What you can expect from IHDS

Screening and documentation Successful applicants will need a current NDIS Worker Screening clearance, First Aid and CPR certificates, a valid driver’s licence and relevant work rights. Where your vehicle is used for participant transport, registration and appropriate insurance will also be required. Relevant qualifications and current manual handling training will be highly regarded.

Availability

Please outline your availability for weekdays, weekends and overnight shifts. This is an expression of interest for a service currently being explored; shift arrangements, hours and commencement dates are subject to confirmation.

Pay: $26.44 – $57.25 per hour
