Injury Management Doctors is a medical practice that focuses on workplace and motor-vehicle injury. We're looking for doctors currently working in hospital, including RMOs, PGY3+ and registrars, to join us full-time or part time.

No general practice experience needed. Injury management is its own discipline, and we'd rather teach it properly from the start. You'll be trained in NSW workers compensation and CTP, certificates of capacity, and working with employers and insurers, with senior clinical support.

Responsibilities

- See injured workers in clinic and by telehealth
- Assess, diagnose and plan treatment, and issue certificates of capacity
- Refer to physiotherapy, psychology and specialists, and write treating-doctor reports
- Work with employers, insurers and allied health to help workers recover and return to work

Requirements

- General registration with AHPRA




- A current hospital role (RMO, PGY3+ or registrar)
- Clear written communication: certificates and reports are read by insurers, employers and lawyers
- Medical indemnity for private practice

- $80 – $150 per hour, depending on experience
