About the role

Holding Hands Early Learning is seeking a reliable, experienced, and passionate Early Childhood Diploma Educator to join our warm, supportive, and professional team. You will work alongside a dedicated team supporting children aged 12 months to 3 years in our Toddler room.

This position is for an immediate start

Key responsibilities

- Provide warm, responsive care and support for toddlers aged 12 months to 3 years, fostering their confidence, independence and curiosity.
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the Toddler Room, creating a safe, clean, engaging and welcoming workplace.
- Support the team, modelling high-quality practice and encouraging teamwork and professional growth.
- Plan and implement an engaging, play-based program that reflects children's interests, needs and development.
- Complete the planning cycle, including observations, programming and evaluation through OWNA.
- Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families and educators.
- Demonstrate practice aligned with the EYLF, NQS and service philosophy.
- Take initiative and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the room and service.

About you





- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or CERT 3 candidates willing to work towards a Diploma qualification)
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in an ECEC setting with children 0-5 years
- NSW Working with Children Check
- Police check (or willing to obtain)
- Child Protection CHCPRT025 certificate
- National Child Safety Training certificate (geccko)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
- Positive, proactive approach and genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Flexibility with rostering
- Experience as a 2IC / Responsible Person desirable.

Pay: $38.00 – $39.00 per hour
