Eden Horticulture is a boutique garden maintenance business specialising in high-end residential gardens across Melbourne's inner suburbs. We're known for our attention to detail, reliability and pride in every job we do. We're looking for a full-time gardener to join our skilled crew.
Garden or horticulture experience is strongly encouraged, but attitude, communication and work ethic matter just as much.
The Role
You'll work as part of our crew in some of Melbourne's most beautiful and well-established gardens. The role is hands-on and physical, with full outdoor workdays. It suits someone who takes pride in their work, can follow direction and wants to build their horticulture skills in a qualified setting.
What You'll Be Doing
- Garden maintenance: mowing, pruning, hedging, weeding, fertilising, mulching
- Planting, soil preparation and seasonal clean-ups
- Assisting with soft landscaping and installs
- Pest and disease identification and treatment
- Operating hand tools and power equipment (hedgers, blowers, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Communicating clearly on-site and with clients in a professional, respectful manner
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and punctual (this is essential)
- Some experience in garden maintenance or horticulture (work, study or personal)
- Clear communication and the ability to take direction
- Able to work efficiently without constant supervision
- Physically fit and comfortable with sustained outdoor work
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
- Available for full-time hours, Monday to Friday
What We Offer
- ? $32–$40+ per hour (casual rate) + super, based on experience and demonstrated capability
