Port Hedland-based candidates, or candidates willing to relocate and reside in Port Hedland, are preferred.
FIFO options from Perth may be considered for the right mechanic, subject to experience and suitability for the role.

About The Job
Working as part of our workshop team and reporting to the Workshop Manager, this hands-on position will include the following key responsibilities:
- Preventative maintenance and servicing of prime movers and fuel tankers.
- Fault finding and repair of fleet, equipment, and trailer systems.
- Completing inspection checklists and maintenance records.
- Maintaining a clean, secure and organised workshop.
- Supporting Depot/Workshop compliance and maintenance requirements.
- Working as part of a team to minimise downtime and keep our fleet moving.
What You’ll Need
- Recognised Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanical Trade Qualification.
- Previous experience working on heavy vehicles and trailers.
- Experience with Kenworth prime movers and Cummins and/or Caterpillar engines is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Practical, hands-on approach with pride in quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Reliable, positive attitude and willingness to work in a busy transport workshop environment.
