Full-Time Horticulturist & Landscaper Wanted – near Rosewood, QLD

Position: Horticulturist / Gardener & Landscaper

We are looking for an experienced Horticulturist to join our team on a full-time basis, working across a plant range from propagation, grow-out for fruits, gardens and landscapes on the property at Tallegalla area. Property is situated 3km from Rosewood and 5km from Marburg.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong plant knowledge, practical horticultural experience and the ability to work independently. You will take responsibility for maintaining gardens and landscapes to a consistently high standard and ensuring plants remain healthy and well presented.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include

- Carrying out horticultural and landscape maintenance, including propagation, orchard and garden duties
- Plant care, including pruning, fertilising, pest and disease management
- Monitoring plant health and identifying issues requiring attention
- Conducting irrigation inspections and basic troubleshooting
- Weed management, mulching and seasonal garden maintenance
- Providing recommendations for landscape improvements and plant replacements
- Maintaining gardens and landscapes to a consistently high standard
- Identifying and addressing plant health issues
- Completing all work safely, efficiently and professionally




- Working independently and taking ownership of your daily workload

About You The successful applicant will have:

- Previous experience in horticulture, gardening or landscape maintenance
- Strong knowledge of propagation, grow out, plant health and horticultural practices
- Experience with pruning, fertilising, weed management and pest/disease control
- A valuable understanding of irrigation systems and basic troubleshooting
- The ability to identify plant health issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- A reliable, skilled and practical approach
- Good communication skills
- A current Australian driver's licence
