We are seeking an experienced, dual-traded HVAC and Refrigeration Specialist with strong commercial chiller and central plant expertise to step into a pivotal leadership role on Christmas Island. The core focus will be managing and executing scheduled, preventative, and corrective maintenance for complex commercial infrastructure—specifically focusing on chiller systems and chilled water plants—alongside essential residential HVAC and site electrical compliance.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality work, supports their team and builds positive relationships with clients and stakeholders. You will be confident managing diverse priorities across commercial and residential settings, with strong support from the Facilities Maintenance & Project Manager and Operations Manager.

You will champion CIMS’s safety culture and safe work practices, oversee all aspects of HVAC and electrical service delivery and maintenance management, and ensure work is completed to a high standard in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practice.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally hold relevant building and technical services qualifications, including a Certificate III or IV in Engineering – Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trade, or equivalent,



and a WA ‘A’ Class Electrical Worker’s Licence. A current AFP clearance is also highly desirable.
