Sleep and Lung Care is a large respiratory and sleep specialist clinic in Epping, Kilmore, Brunswick and Doncaster and Braybrook, Vic.

The successful applicant will be working in all the clinic locations.

The job is for a casual position with an prospect to be offered full time in the future based on business demand and applicant competency.

Essential Qualifications and experience:

Candidates eligible for this position must possess:

1. Academic qualifications:
2. Tertiary qualification in health science or applied science or human physiology is essential

2.Experience is not required but preferred. We are happy to provide training to the successful candidate.

About the role

You will be required to perform:

- Spirometry and flow volume loops;
- Gas transfer;




- Body plethysmography;
- Bronchial provocation tests (mannitol);
- Maximal inspiratory and expiratory pressures (MIPs and MEPs);
- 6 minute walk test;
- Accurate reports on the above tests;
- Home sleep study setup.

You will be required to perform duties relating to the running and maintenance of the lab and its equipment including:
- Calibration;
- Quality control;
- Infection control, and maintenance of safety standards;
- Troubleshooting, including computer troubleshooting;
- Adherence to current guidelines;
