What you'll be doing:

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, playing a crucial role in providing a seamless and professional experience as an integral member of the medical administration team.

- Greeting and welcoming patients to the medical hub in a friendly and professional manner

- Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and assisting with general day-to-day operations

- Handling phone inquiries, emails, and patient requests efficiently

- Processing payments and managing billing tasks

- Coordinating with medical staff to ensure patients receive timely and efficient care

- Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive patient information

- Maintaining a clean, and organised reception area

What we're looking for:

We’re looking for an experienced General Practice receptionist with a can-do attitude, a hunger to learn, and a spark of ambition.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients from all walks of life





- Excellent organisational and time management abilities to juggle tasks and keep everything running smoothly
- An eagle eye for detail with a commitment to maintaining accurate and reliable records
- A genuine interest in healthcare and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care

Highly regarded

- Previous experience as a medical receptionist in General Practice

- Previous use of Best Practice software
