Jupiter Health and Medical Services Pty Ltd is seeking a Casual Medical Receptionist to join our team in Northam, WA. This is a Casual Position that plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our busy general practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing high-quality customer service while supporting the practice team through a variety of administrative and operational duties.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner

- Answer phones, manage bookings, and confirm appointments

- Arrive patients at the front desk and manage appointment scheduling, ensuring the correct examinations are booked based on request forms

- Assist with new patient registrations and data entry

- Handle accounts, banking, Medicare batching, and other billing activities

- Process payments and Medicare claims

- Provide a high standard of patient care and customer service by anticipating, recognising, and meeting patient needs

- Always protect patient privacy and dignity, and aim to ensure patient comfort





- Maintain cleanliness and order at the front desk

- Perform general office duties such as scanning, filing, and emailing

- Support clinical staff with basic administrative tasks

- Contribute to quality patient care through effective delivery of admin services

- Cooperate and assist other team members during busy periods

What we’re looking for:

- Previous customer service or admin experience (medical reception experience a bonus but not essential)

- Confident using a computer and learning new systems

- Friendly, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

- Robust communication and interpersonal skills

- Willingness to learn and contribute to a team

- Availability for weekday and weekend shifts
