Join our inpatient Mental Health Service and grow your Occupational Therapy career across Bankstown and Liverpool Hospitals. This rotational position offers exposure to a range of mental health settings, enabling you to build clinical experience, work closely with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to recovery-focused care within a supportive and well-established Occupational Therapy department.

- Gain experience across acute, non-acute and rehabilitation mental health units.
- Work alongside Senior Clinicians and multidisciplinary teams delivering holistic, evidence-based care.
- Receive regular supervision, mentorship and access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Develop your clinical skills while supporting consumers on their recovery journey.

We're looking for an Occupational Therapist who is organised, adaptable and passionate about working in mental health. You will enjoy working with consumers from diverse backgrounds and be committed to delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care.

- Ability to effectively prioritise workload and manage competing demands within a busy clinical environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with consumers, carers and colleagues.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive consumer outcomes.
- A genuine interest in mental health and a commitment to supporting consumers throughout their recovery journey.

Selection Criteria To help us assess your suitability for the role,



please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

- Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer, and current National Occupational Therapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and eligibility for membership to the AAOT.
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class drivers licence (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class licence (P1 and P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) licence within 3 months of appointment. Learners licences are not permitted.
- Knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention for people experiencing mental illness and working effectively within a multidiscipliinary team.
- Demonstrated high-level verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
