Your caseload here can span NDIS participants of any age - functional and assistive technology assessments, home modifications, hands-on therapy - and you have real say in which of those you do more of. Final-year students, new graduates and experienced Occupational Therapists are all genuinely in scope; new graduates get weekly mentoring and structured supervision from day one, and experienced clinicians get a caseload they can specialise or diversify, with a clear path into senior, leadership or specialist roles when they're ready for it.
ASSESSMENTS & ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY
- Functional Capacity Assessments, Activities of Daily Living Assessments and support needs recommendations
- Assistive Technology assessments and equipment prescription, including complex and high-cost AT solutions
- Seating and positioning assessments, and manual handling assessments
HOME MODIFICATIONS & HOUSING
- SIL, SDA and ILO assessments
- Home modification recommendations and environmental assessments
THERAPY & INTERVENTION
- Fine and gross motor therapy, sensory assessment and intervention, and emotional regulation strategies
- Individual and group-based programs across adult and paediatric caseloads
- Early intervention assessments, school-based and community-based support
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Degree in Occupational Therapy, or in your final year of study
- Current or eligible AHPRA registration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
- Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
- Working With Children Check and National Police Check
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
