Are you a reliable, self-sufficient painter who likes variety and working independently?

At Plasterfix, our plasterers repair ceilings and walls across residential and maintenance jobs. We're looking for a painter to follow behind them and finish the job, so our clients get a complete repair-and-paint service from one team.

What the work looks like

This role suits someone who enjoys moving between sites rather than spending weeks on one big project.

- Mostly small jobs: A typical job is painting one ceiling or two walls in a room after a plaster repair.
- Multiple sites: You'll usually visit 1-2 properties in a day, so productive setup, clean work and pack-up are key.
- Occasional larger jobs: From time to time we'll take on a full property repaint, including woodwork.
- Occupied homes: Many jobs are in lived-in homes and rental properties, so tidiness and respect for the client's space matter.
- Organised schedule: We plan and book your jobs, so you always know where you're heading next.

What you'll need

- Your own reliable vehicle that can carry your ladders, drop sheets and gear between sites
- Your own tools and equipment, including brushes, rollers, trays, drop sheets, ladders,

sanding and patching gear
- A current driver's licence and White Card
- Solid painting experience, including prep (sanding, gapping, spot priming over fresh plaster) and matching existing finishes and colours
- Self-sufficiency: You can manage your day, solve problems on site and get the job done without supervision
- Speed and quality: You can knock out small jobs efficiently without cutting corners
- Professional presence: Punctual, tidy, courteous and comfortable dealing with homeowners and tenants. You'll often be the face of our business.

Who this role suits A painter who likes variety, works well solo, takes pride in a clean finish and prefers being on the road over being stuck on one site. We're looking for an individual tradesperson, not a painting team or crew. Ready to join us?

If you're reliable, friendly and ready to be part of a team that values your work, we'd love to hear from you.
