About the role The role will involve all aspects of professional painting, including surface preparation, sanding, filling, patching, gap filling, priming, undercoating and applying finishing coats. Work will include interior and exterior painting, rendered walls, weatherboards, timber, doors, windows, fascia, gutters, eaves, ceilings, handrails, metalwork and other residential and commercial surfaces.

Key responsibilities

- Surface preparation, sanding, filling, patching, and gap filling
- Priming and undercoating
- Applying finishing coats
- Interior and exterior painting on residential, commercial and body corporate projects
- Painting rendered walls, weatherboards, timber, doors, windows, fascia, gutters, eaves, ceilings, handrails and metalwork

- Previous painting experience is essential
- Reliable and hardworking
- Take pride in work with robust focus on preparation and quality finishes
- Reference from a previous employer must be provided
