Pastry Team Member – Full-Time or Part time

We’re looking for a passionate and motivated person to join our pastry team at BAKED Gluten Free.

We’re a busy artisan gluten-free bakery producing everything from cakes, tarts and pastries through to a large range of wholesale products supplied across Tasmania.

We’re happy to offer this position as full-time or part-time for the right person.

Formal pastry or baking qualifications aren’t essential. What’s more important to us is a genuine passion for baking, a great attitude and a willingness to learn. Previous baking or pastry experience whether professionally or through a strong personal interest in baking would definitely be an advantage.

This is a hands-on role in a busy wholesale bakery, so it’s important to understand that pastry production isn’t always glamorous! There are large batches, repetitive tasks and physical work, including lifting and moving ingredients and products.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Is genuinely passionate about baking and pastry
- Can confidently read, understand and follow recipes
- Can follow instructions and established processes




- Has good communication skills and works well within a team
- Works cleanly, efficiently and stays organised
- Has strong attention to detail and consistency
- Is comfortable with repetitive production work and heavy lifting
- Is reliable, positive and motivated
- Takes pride in what they produce
- Is keen to learn and develop their skills

Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 38.0 per week
