An exciting chance has become available for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a well-established and growing technology business on an initial 2-3 month contract.

Working as part of a collaborative Finance team, you'll be responsible for supporting the end-to-end payroll function and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.

The Responsibilities:

- Manage the end-to-end payroll process across the business
- Process weekly/fortnightly/monthly payroll and ensure accuracy of employee payments
- Manage employee changes including new starters, terminations, leave and variations
- Ensure payroll is compliant with relevant legislation, superannuation and payroll tax requirements
- Reconcile payroll and investigate any discrepancies
- Respond to employee payroll queries and provide timely support
- Assist with payroll reporting and month-end requirements
- Work closely with Finance and HR to ensure payroll data is accurate and up to date
- Support any payroll-related projects or process improvements as required

About You:





We're looking for an experienced Payroll Officer who can hit the ground running and take ownership of the payroll function from day one.

You'll ideally have

- Previous experience managing payroll end-to-end
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, superannuation and payroll tax
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with a payroll system/HRIS
- The ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach

To Note:

- Must be immediately available to commence on Monday 12th October
- Sydney CBD Location - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
