- Undertake payroll back up functions including end-to-end payroll processing under limited direction, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time and payroll complies with legislation, enterprise arrangements, policies and procedures.

- Process payroll transactions and employment variations, including but not limited to, employee and contingent workforce commencements, separations, employment changes, leave adjustments and Commonwealth Superannuation birthday reviews.

- Prepare payroll correspondence, employment-related documentation and reports to support operational and compliance requirements.

- Contribute to fortnightly, end of month and end of financial year payroll activities, ensuring statutory and organisational obligations are met.





- Provide specialist advice and guidance to employees and managers on payroll matters, including entitlements, leave, taxation, superannuation and employment conditions.

- Support the implementation, transition and ongoing optimisation of TechnologyOne as IBA’s payroll system, including testing, user acceptance activities, process documentation, change adoption, controls, data validation and issue resolution.

- Maintain payroll data integrity and system records, identify issues, risks or anomalies and provide recommendations to the Manager, Pay & Conditions to support resolution and continuous improvement.

- Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, audit material and other documentation to support compliance requirements, management decision-making and continuous improvement.

- Build and maintain productive relationships with employees, managers, system providers and external stakeholders to support responsive service delivery.

- Identify and contribute to improvements in payroll processes to enhance service quality, compliance and efficiency.

- Contribute to broader People, Performance and Culture team objectives and provide support across related activities as required.

- Other duties as required.
