The People Desk is recruiting for an experienced People & Culture Advisor to join a well-established disability and community services organisation based in Warragul.

People & Culture Advisor

Warragul | Part-time | Hybrid

9:00am to 3:00pm | 4 or 5 days per week

This is a practical, hands-on HR role supporting managers and leaders across recruitment, onboarding, workforce compliance, employee documentation, return-to-work and broader People & Culture matters.

Key responsibilities include

- Providing practical HR advice and guidance to managers
- Managing and supporting the Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator
- Overseeing recruitment, onboarding and workforce compliance processes
- Monitoring employee screening, credentials and mandatory requirements
- Supporting return-to-work and WorkCover processes
- Providing guidance on HR policies, SCHADS and employment requirements
- Maintaining accurate and audit-ready HR documentation
- Identifying and escalating workforce risks
- Working closely with operational, recruitment, quality and compliance teams





We are looking for someone with experience in HR, People & Culture or a similar advisory role, along with a good understanding of Fair Work, SCHADS and workforce compliance.

A relevant qualification in HR, Business, Industrial Relations or equivalent experience is preferred.

Experience within the NDIS, disability or community services sector will be highly regarded.

This is a broad People & Culture role with the prospect to work closely with leaders, support a small recruitment function and make a practical impact across the organisation.
