Client Profile

Our client is a distinctive luxury hospitality business on the Gold Coast, bringing together premium accommodation, food and beverage, wellness, events and lifestyle experiences. With a strong focus on both guest and employee experience, the business offers a dynamic, people-focused environment where culture, service and operational excellence are closely connected.

Working as part of the People & Culture team, the Learning & Development / People & Culture Business Partner will play an integral role in building capability, strengthening employee engagement and supporting leaders across a diverse hospitality operation. This is a hands-on position suited to an HR professional who enjoys being visible within the business and working closely with operational teams.

Key responsibilities include

- Lead learning and development initiatives, including inductions, workshops, training programs and ongoing capability development
- Partner with operational leaders to identify training needs, coach managers and develop practical solutions that improve team performance
- Support employee engagement, culture and onboarding initiatives while helping embed strong service standards across the business
- Provide generalist HR support across the employee lifecycle, including performance management and employee relations matters
- Contribute to broader People & Culture projects designed to enhance the employee experience and support operational objectives

Candidate Profile You will be an experienced People & Culture skilled with strong generalist HR capability and a genuine passion for learning, development and employee engagement.



Comfortable working alongside frontline teams and senior operational leaders, you will bring a practical approach and the ability to translate people initiatives into meaningful outcomes.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- Previous experience within a luxury hotel environment
- Strong learning and development capability, with experience designing, coordinating or facilitating practical training initiatives
- Sound generalist HR knowledge across the employee lifecycle, ideally including performance management and employee relations
- Excellent communication, facilitation and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to coach and constructively challenge leaders
- High emotional intelligence and a hands-on, commercially aware approach suited to a fast-paced operational environment

Experience within luxury or lifestyle hospitality is essential; however, the ability to engage teams, manage stakeholder relationships, build leadership capability and create a strong employee experience will be equally important.
