Tweet World Travel Group is looking for an experienced, proactive and highly organised People, Culture & Training Manager to join our growing organisation.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves people, structure, training and organisational development.

As our Group continues to grow, we are looking for a solid HR professional who can help us build the people systems, culture and training framework required for our next stage of growth.

You won't simply maintain existing HR processes. You will have the opportunity to build, improve and lead them.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the People & Culture / HR & Training Manager will take ownership of the Group's people function and help develop a professional, accountable and high-performing organisation.

This position combines HR management, recruitment, employee development and training.

You will work closely with the CEO and department leaders to ensure we recruit the right people, train them effectively, establish clear expectations and create an environment where employees can perform and grow.

Key Responsibilities

People & Culture

- Develop and continuously improve HR policies, procedures and people systems.
- Maintain employment documentation and HR records.
- Coordinate employment contracts, probation reviews and performance reviews.
- Support managers with employee performance and workplace matters.
- Help establish a positive, professional and accountable workplace culture.
- Ensure HR practices remain aligned with relevant Australian workplace requirements.

Recruitment





- Manage end-to-end recruitment across the Group.
- Work with department leaders to identify staffing requirements.
- Prepare job descriptions and advertisements.
- Screen candidates and coordinate interviews.
- Conduct reference and pre-employment checks where required.
- Improve our recruitment processes to attract high-quality employees.
- Support current recruitment priorities across Reservations & Customer Service, Operations and Administration.

Onboarding & Training

- Build a structured onboarding and induction program for new employees.
- Develop training plans for different departments and positions.
- Coordinate internal and external training.
- Maintain training records and competency requirements.
- Work with department managers to identify skills gaps.
- Help create SOPs, training materials, guides and internal learning resources.
- Ensure new employees receive the knowledge and support required to become productive quickly.

Performance & Development

- Establish clear probation and performance-review processes.
- Help managers develop measurable KPIs and expectations for employees.
- Support employee development and career progression.
- Identify high-potential employees and future leaders.
- Assist with succession planning as the organisation grows.

Organisational Development

- Work closely with the CEO to strengthen organisational structure and reporting lines.
- Help clarify roles, responsibilities and accountability across departments.
- Support workforce planning as the Group expands.
- Help build management and leadership capability throughout the organisation.

About You

We are looking for someone who is practical, commercially minded and comfortable working in a growing entrepreneurial organisation.

You will ideally have

- Demonstrated experience in HR,



People & Culture or a similar position.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management.
- Experience developing HR policies, procedures and systems.
- Good understanding of Australian employment practices and workplace requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Confidence working directly with senior management and department leaders.
- The ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- A proactive approach—you identify what needs to be done and take ownership.
- Strong attention to detail while also understanding the bigger organisational picture.
- Experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, technology or another service-based industry would be advantageous.

- Strong new-employee onboarding and induction.
- Clear HR policies and procedures.
- Structured employee training and development.
- Consistent probation and performance reviews.
- Clearer job responsibilities, KPIs and accountability.
- Department managers becoming stronger people managers.
- Reduced dependency on the CEO for routine people and HR matters.
- A scalable people framework capable of supporting the Group's continued growth.
