HR Systems Specialist | 12-month fixed term contract | Sydney location with hybrid working
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Systems Specialist to join our health information client, providing operational expertise, administration, optimisation, and continuous improvement across their people systems including Dayforce, Acorn, and SuccessFactors.
You will be responsible for ensuring seamless system performance, driving process automation to eliminate manual administrative tasks, maintaining data integrity across all platforms, and providing responsive technical support and troubleshooting.
This role is a combination of hands-on system administration with operational HR coordination, supporting the implementation of the Jira ticketing system and delivering efficient, technology-enabled HR services across the full employee lifecycle.

Key skills & experience
- 3+ years' experience in HR systems administration, HRIS coordination, or similar technical HR role
- Demonstrated experience administering enterprise HRIS platforms (Dayforce, SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar)
- Proven experience in HR operations and administration across the employee lifecycle
- Track record of maintaining data integrity and generating accurate HR reports
- Solid understanding of HR processes, employment documentation, and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of system configuration, workflow automation, and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management approaches (e.g., Jira)
- Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and compliance requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, data analysis, and dashboard creation
- Solid HRIS system administration skills with confidence in managing system data, configurations, and user access
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools within HRIS platforms
- Demonstrated experience working with AI tools including Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar productivity tools
- Ability to document processes, create user guides, and maintain system documentation
Based in Sydney CBD, this role offers hybrid working with 2 days per week in the office. This is a fixed term contract role for an initial period of 12-months.
