/n About the Prospect/n
/n
/n Under the direct supervision of the Manager Clinical Services, the Pharmacist will participate in the provision of direct pharmaceutical care to inpatients/outpatients as a member of the interdisciplinary care team. Duties include patient counseling, medication monitoring, student mentoring, drug utilization reviews, liaison with Community Pharmacists and education/drug information. The Pharmacist participates in any clinical pharmacy research in which the Clinical Division Manager is involved. /n

/n About You/n
/n
/n We would love to hear from you if you have the following: /n /n
- Graduate of a recognized School of Pharmacy
/n
- Eligible for the registration with the Nova Scotia Pharmacy Regulator (NSPR) /n
- Completion of a Hospital pharmacy residency program and/or equivalent related direct patient care experience (minimal 2 years) in a hospital setting preferred
/n
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
/n
- Knowledge of medication patient safety therapeutics required
/n
- Knowledge of medication patient safety concepts an asset
/n
- Experience in evidence based clinical research an asset
/n
- Strong teaching ability/experience required
/n
- Experience in critical appraisal of scientific literature required
/n
- Proven effective oral and written communication skills required
/n
- Experience as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team required
/n
- Ability to prioritize work responsibilities and to work well under time pressures required
/n
- Demonstrated interest in professional development and lifelong learning required
/n
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

/n Compensation and Benefits/n

/n $49.42 - $63.29 hourly
