Ready to step out of the retail grind and into a hospital leadership role? Take charge of inpatient pharmacy at Mater Mackay Hospital, where you'll be a clinical voice on the wards, a mentor to your technicians, and the pharmacist the hospital team relies on.

Why this role

- Real clinical work. Ward rounds, chart reviews, medication reconciliation and high-risk medicine reviews across 105 beds covering medical, surgical, maternity and high dependency, plus theatre and emergency.
- Genuine leadership. You own the service and lead the pharmacy team. This is a true Pharmacist in Charge role, not a title on paper.
- Come from community? Welcome. Hospital experience is preferred but not essential, and you'll have a full handover with our current Pharmacist in Charge so you start with confidence.
- Variety every day. Patient education sessions, nurse in-services, discharge counselling, inpatient supply. No two shifts look the same.

What you get

- $55/hr+ with accommodation included, or up to $70/hr+ without. Your choice. Total package circa $150k*, plus superannuation

About you

- Degree in pharmacy, general AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance
- Strong communicator who builds excellent relationships with clinical teams
- Happy to work within group policies and procedures, including medicine supply to the hospital
- Available for a rotating on-call roster and Saturday work
