Amcal Largs Bay Chemist is seeking a pleasant and reliable Pharmacy Assistant to join our friendly team. This role focuses on aiding our Pharmacy Supervisor in setting up Amcal Promotions and Planograms, assisting customers with their pharmaceutical and healthcare needs, and supporting the day-to-day operations of our community pharmacy and post office.
Key responsibilities
- Assist customers with their pharmaceutical and healthcare needs, offering exceptional customer service
- Assist with stock control duties such as putting away orders, ticketing and promotional set up
- Assist in the sale of S2/S3 medications to customers
- Maintain the presentation of the store and service areas
- Safely deliver prescriptions and products to customers in nursing homes and within the local area, providing excellent customer service during deliveries
- Promote and operate our in-store AMCAL Health Services offering
- Always work within QSPP standards and follow all Health and Safety legislation
- Work and help out in our post office
About you
- Current drivers licence
- Prior experience in pharmacy and/or Post Office duty is highly regarded but not essential (regular training will be provided)
- Exposure to Fred and experience with Front of shop Promotions highly regarded
- The ability to communicate clearly and effectively in various mediums (In-store, at our Nursing Homes and Community Homes)
- Eager and willing to add to your knowledge base and skills
- A willingness to accept delegated key tasks as required
- A deep understanding of exceptional customer service
- Ability to work in harmony with co-workers
- Self-motivation with a positive attitude
- Ability to respond to pressure in a positive way
