About the role

Priceline Pharmacy Toronto is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pharmacy Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. This role is located in Toronto NSW 2283 and offers flexibility for those seeking part-time or casual work in the pharmacy sector. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and assisting our pharmacists in delivering quality healthcare services to our community.

This position is integral to maintaining the smooth running of our pharmacy and providing customers with a welcoming and professional experience.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting customers with general inquiries and directing them to appropriate pharmacy services or products

- Processing prescriptions and managing inventory of pharmaceutical products

- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and procedures

- Restocking shelves and organising products in a neat and accessible manner

- Operating the point-of-sale system and processing transactions accurately

- Providing support to the pharmacist with dispensing of medications under supervision

- Maintaining a clean, hygienic and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety standards

- Assisting with general administrative tasks including filing, data entry and telephone support

- Supporting promotional activities and helping to maintain the pharmacy's qualified appearance

What we're looking for

- Previous experience working in a pharmacy or customer service environment is highly desirable

- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members

- Basic numeracy skills and accuracy in handling transactions and records

- Ability to work flexibly on a casual basis, including availability for various shifts




- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to pharmacy regulations and data protection requirements

- Good organisational skills and attention to detail

- Reliable, punctual and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- A genuine interest in healthcare and customer wellbeing

- Have completed a Support the Sale of Pharmacy and Pharmacist Only Medicine's course.
