Neuro Alliance currently has two available positions appropriate for a New Graduate, Junior or Intermediate Physiotherapist.

Neuro Alliance is a leading multidisciplinary allied health service with a focus on helping adults with a range of developmental, genetic, and neurological conditions. The practice believes in a client centered service with a strong focus on evidence-based and goal focused therapy intervention.

The team is seeking multiple Physiotherapists for our adult service, full time with part time considered for the right candidate. You will be mentored by and have access to the high-level expertise of multiple Senior Physiotherapists in a friendly, supportive team setting. Clinicians will have access to the most advanced neurorehabilitation environment in the Hunter Region and be able to utilise our Complex Care Services such as the Neuro Alliance Seating Lab, Gait Lab, Serial Casting service and Orthoses clinic.

The service also has an aquatic therapy service on site that is catered specifically for the neuro-disability population.

Neuro Alliance is a strong advocate for ongoing professional development and career progression. Staff receive access to four staff development days per year, an additional day of approved study leave, plus a budget for CPD. The candidate will have ample opportunity to progress their clinical skills in an environment that provides and promotes a high level of learning.

As part of the role, education will be provided both internally by our experienced team and externally from our various partners.

Key responsibilities in this role include:

- The provision of evidenced based services to adults living with a neurological and / or genetic condition or disability.




- Developing novel and innovative treatment programs for clients drawing from our wide array of therapy tools, both basic and right up to our advanced technologies.
- Training to support staff and family members to ensure clients receive adequate therapy dosage.
- Work within a dynamic team to deliver a high standard of therapy.
- Engage in ongoing professional development both internally and externally.
- Provide a high level of verbal and written communication skills to a wide range of stakeholders including medical specialists, general practitioners, families, and funding bodies.

To be successful in this role the applicant must be able to address the following selection criteria:

- Experience working in an adult setting with a willingness to engage in an individualised learning plan.
- Demonstrate a high level of verbal and written communication skills, along with good computer skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with others and autonomously within a team, with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Demonstrate a passion for working with a variety of clients and environments, across a neurological and disability population.
- Hold a current NSW Driver’s License and be able to provide a driving record.
- Have relevant professional (AHPRA) registration and insurances.
- Hold a current NSW Criminal history check or be willing to undergo one.
- Must hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain WWCC prior to commencement.
