This is an exciting prospect for an experienced and motivated Physiotherapist to join the Pain Management Centre at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
About the Role
You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). It is one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.
The role involves individual assessment of clients with chronic pain and working collaboratively with them to develop physical and functional goals. The successful applicant will also facilitate hydrotherapy and group gym classes and support multidisciplinary pain education sessions.
The position works within a supportive multidisciplinary team and requires the ability to work effectively within a busy department, prioritising workload according to clinical needs and service demands.

Ideal Candidate
- Current AHPRA Physiotherapy Registration and degree, or equivalent, in Physiotherapy, ensuring eligibility for full membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association with experience at Level 2 or higher.
- Previous experience working with people with chronic pain is highly desirable.
- Able to work five (5) days per fortnight, working 8:00am to 4:30pm. Preferred working days are Monday and Thursday, with flexibility to work across Monday to Thursday (Friday is not available as a rostered working day).
