EddenRose Community Services is a registered NDIS provider supporting participants across Melbourne with disability and community-based services.
We are expanding our therapeutic supports capability and are seeking an experienced, appropriately qualified Physiotherapist to join our growing team.
This opportunity would suit a Physiotherapist who values person-centred practice, professional autonomy, versatile working arrangements and collaborative multidisciplinary care.
About the Role The Physiotherapist will provide high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy supports to NDIS participants in accordance with their individual goals, functional needs and funding.
Responsibilities may include
- Physiotherapy assessments
- Mobility and functional assessments
- Falls prevention and balance interventions
- Strength, conditioning and movement programs
- Pain and physical-function management
- Rehabilitation and capacity-building supports
- Mobility aid and equipment recommendations
- Assistive technology input where appropriate
- Exercise and home-program development
- Progress reports and NDIS review reports
- Collaboration with participants, families, Support Coordinators and other health professionals
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Participating in clinical supervision, professional development and quality improvement activities
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have
- A recognised qualification in Physiotherapy
- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or eligibility to obtain one
- Current National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check where applicable
- Professional indemnity insurance where required
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to person-centred, rights-based and evidence-informed practice
Desirable Experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:
- NDIS
- Neurological rehabilitation
- Spinal cord injury
- Acquired brain injury
- Amputation
- Mobility and falls prevention
- Autism and developmental disability
- Complex physical disability
- Assistive technology and mobility equipment
- Home-based or community physiotherapy
Engagement This position may be offered on a casual employment or contractor basis, depending on experience and suitability.
EddenRose is currently progressing its registration for NDIS Registration Group 0128 – Therapeutic Supports.
Clinical service delivery under this registration group will commence once the relevant NDIS registration requirements have been completed and approved.
The successful applicant may complete onboarding, credential verification and service preparation prior to commencement of participant-facing therapeutic services.
Applicants with strong NDIS, neurological rehabilitation, mobility assessment or complex-disability experience may be considered at the upper end of the range.
