Gang Gang Cafe & Bar is looking for an experienced Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team in a predominantly evening-based role.

We’re a busy venue producing approximately 250 pizzas from Wednesday to Sunday, with particularly high volumes on weekends. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen is highly regarded.

Key responsibilities

- Manage the pizza section during service
- Prepare, stretch, top and cook pizzas consistently and efficiently
- Complete daily prep and maintain appropriate stock levels
- Monitor product quality, portion control and presentation
- Keep the section clean, organised and ready for service
- Assist with ordering, stock rotation and minimising wastage
- Follow all food safety and kitchen procedures
- Communicate effectively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Help train and support junior kitchen staff where required





What we’re looking for

- Previous experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar high-volume kitchen role
- Robust organisation and section-management skills
- The ability to remain calm and consistent during busy services
- A reliable, positive and team-focused attitude
- Weekend availability is essential

This is a full-time position offering predominantly evening shifts, with service finishing no later than 10pm. We offer a supportive and flexible workplace, a strong kitchen team and consistent full-time hours.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
