Role Description The Planning Consultant will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and reviewing project programs and schedules for construction and infrastructure projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing detailed planning documentation, analyzing project progress and performance, identifying risks and delays, and recommending corrective actions to keep projects on track.

The role involves collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.

The Planning

Consultant will also contribute to project controls, provide planning input to commercial and contractual matters, and support forensic schedule and delay analysis as needed. This is a full-time, hybrid,



flexible role based in Perth, WA.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Planning skills, including project scheduling, program development, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret project data, assess risks, perform delay analysis, and develop evidence-based recommendations.
- Candidates should possess Financial Planning capabilities to understand cost implications of schedule decisions, support budgeting, and contribute to commercial assessments.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for clear reporting, stakeholder engagement, and presenting complex planning information in an accessible way.
- Candidates should possess Consulting skills, with the ability to advise clients, build trusted relationships, and deliver practical solutions in a professional services environment.
- Relevant experience in construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects, preferably in planning or project controls roles.
- Proficiency with project planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and strong MS Excel skills.
- Formal qualifications in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related discipline are highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing project issues.
