What are we looking for?

We're looking for Practice Managers who see themselves as leaders and business partners, not simply administrators.

At MID, the Practice Manager plays an important role in creating a high-performing practice — supporting the team, delivering an exceptional patient experience and taking ownership of practice performance.

You'll be someone who enjoys looking at the bigger picture and asking:

How can we make this practice better?

That might mean identifying opportunities to strengthen the appointment book, improving team efficiency, developing your people, streamlining systems or working closely with the Practice Director to improve the overall performance of the practice.

Your focus may include:

- Driving appointment book performance through proactive recall, reactivation and patient engagement.
- Leading and developing the team, creating a positive, accountable and high-performing culture.




- Optimising staffing and rostering to ensure the team is aligned with patient demand.
- Monitoring practice performance and taking action when opportunities arise.
- Overseeing day-to-day operations, compliance, systems and patient experience.
- Partnering with the Practice Director to identify opportunities and implement improvements.
- Bringing energy, initiative and a solutions-focused approach to the practice.

We're interested in people who:

- Have experience as a Practice Manager, Practice Coordinator, Senior Receptionist, Treatment Coordinator, Team Leader or similar.
- Have experience within dental, healthcare, allied health or another service-based environment.
- Naturally take ownership and don't wait to be told what needs to be done.
- Are comfortable working with performance data and turning insights into action.
- Can confidently lead conversations around performance, expectations, rostering and accountability.
- Enjoy developing people and creating a positive team environment.
- Are organised, commercially aware and confident with systems and technology.
- Are looking for an opportunity where they can genuinely make an impact.

You don't necessarily need to have held the title "Practice Manager".
