Position: Pressure Welder

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent – 38 hours/week

Salary: $75 000.00 - $85 000.00 per annum plus superannuation

About the Role The successful applicant will be responsible for pressure welding, fabrication and associated metalwork, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and in accordance with relevant welding procedures, specifications and quality requirements.

Key duties will include:

· Performing pressure welding and fabrication work.

- Preparing, fitting and welding metal components.

- Welding carbon steel, stainless steel and other materials as required.

- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, welding procedures and technical specifications.

- Setting up and operating welding equipment and associated tools.

- Inspecting completed welds and identifying defects or imperfections.

- Ensuring welding work meets required quality and safety standards.

- Maintaining welding equipment and a clean and safe work environment.

- Working with supervisors and other tradespeople to complete projects within required timeframes.

Skills and Experience

- Relevant welding trade qualification or equivalent experience.

- Demonstrated experience in pressure welding.

- Experience with pressure vessels, pipework or similar pressure equipment.





- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding procedures.

- Knowledge of welding processes, materials and quality requirements.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- A solid commitment to workplace health and safety.

- Relevant licences, tickets and certifications required for the position including a White Card
