About the Role The APAC Pricing Manager is the senior regional pricing owner for Xe's Consumer and SME segments, responsible for developing and Implement pricing strategies that support sustainable customer and commercial growth across APAC.

Working in partnership with the Consumer and SME segment heads, Marketing, Regional Leadership and global pricing colleagues, the role will use market intelligence, customer insights and commercial analytics to optimise pricing across our priority verticals, Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and corridors. The role will focus on maximising customer acquisition, conversion, wallet share, retention and cross-sell of recent products, while supporting agreed revenue and margin objectives.

The APAC Pricing Manager will own the local pricing agenda end-to-end, combining strategic pricing development, data-led experimentation, hands-on pricing system execution, governance and regional reporting. As a senior individual contributor, the role will influence commercial decision-making, provide pricing expertise to APAC GTM leaders and ensure that approved pricing strategies are implemented effectively within agreed global frameworks and approval authorities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pricing Strategy & Commercial Performance

- Lead the development of Xe's overall pricing strategies across the APAC Consumer and SME segments, working in partnership with the respective segment heads, Marketing and Regional Leadership.
- Develop and recommend differentiated pricing strategies that support customer acquisition, conversion, wallet share, retention and cross-sell of new products.
- Align pricing strategies with Xe's commercial priorities, customer propositions, go-to-market strategies and regional growth ambitions.
- Partner with segment leadership to ensure pricing supports the commercial strategy across priority verticals, ICPs, corridors and customer lifecycle stages.
- Balance customer value, competitive positioning, revenue generation and sustainable margin performance when developing pricing recommendations.
- Work within established approval authorities, ensuring pricing strategies and material changes are appropriately reviewed and approved by the relevant stakeholders.

2. Market Intelligence & Growth Opportunities

- Monitor competitor pricing, product propositions and go-to-market strategies across APAC to ensure Xe remains competitive and well positioned to grow market share in its key focus areas.
- Analyse market opportunity, competitive dynamics and market share across priority verticals, ICPs and corridors, leveraging internal customer and transaction data alongside external market intelligence.
- Partner with Segment Heads and Marketing to identify new growth opportunities, underserved customer segments and opportunities to strengthen Xe's market position.
- Provide actionable market and pricing insights to inform customer acquisition strategies, market prioritisation, product development and go-to-market planning.
- Develop a detailed understanding of customer price sensitivity, competitor positioning and the commercial factors influencing customer acquisition,



conversion and retention.

3. Pricing Experimentation & Optimisation

- Lead a structured pricing experimentation programme across Consumer and SME, taking commercial hypotheses through to implementation, analysis and evidence-based recommendations.
- Design and evaluate pricing tests using customer, transactional and commercial data to assess the impact of pricing changes on conversion, revenue, margin, retention, wallet share and other relevant business outcomes.
- Partner with Product, Technology, Marketing, Sales and other stakeholders to develop and implement pricing experiments and optimise pricing propositions.
- Use internal analytics and external market insights to identify and prioritise pricing hypotheses.
- Establish a continuous improvement approach to pricing, using experimental findings and performance analysis to inform commercial decision-making.
- Ensure pricing recommendations are supported by robust analysis, clear hypotheses and measurable success criteria.

4. Pricing Execution & System Ownership

- Own the hands-on tactical execution of approved pricing strategies within Xe's pricing engine and relevant pricing platforms.
- Translate approved pricing strategies and commercial decisions into accurate and timely system configurations across applicable markets, segments, products and customer propositions.
- Maintain pricing configurations and ensure changes are implemented consistently in line with approved pricing frameworks and governance requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of pricing systems, processes and capabilities to support greater commercial agility and scalability across APAC.

5. Pricing Governance & Commercial Controls

- Establish and maintain a robust APAC pricing governance framework, including pricing principles, commercial guardrails, approval requirements, delegated authorities and escalation processes.
- Ensure Sales and Account Management teams adhere to approved pricing frameworks, with appropriate controls and approval layers for pricing exceptions.
- Develop monitoring and reporting mechanisms to identify pricing deviations, exceptions and adherence to agreed frameworks.
- Ensure pricing decisions, changes and exceptions are appropriately documented, approved and auditable.
- Work with relevant global, Finance, Risk, Compliance and other stakeholders to ensure pricing governance aligns with applicable internal controls and regulatory requirements.

6. Performance Reporting & Regional Insights

- Own APAC pricing reporting, ensuring Regional Leadership, Segment Heads and Marketing have clear visibility of pricing performance and the impact of pricing strategies across the region.
- Develop and maintain reporting across Consumer and SME, including pricing effectiveness, revenue and margin performance, competitive positioning, customer conversion, retention, wallet share and cross-sell where relevant.
- Work closely with global pricing peers to align local reporting, share insights, identify best practices and support consistency in pricing strategy and execution.
- Translate pricing data, market intelligence and performance trends into actionable recommendations for APAC GTM leaders.
- Communicate pricing performance, opportunities, risks and recommended actions to APAC leadership and relevant global stakeholders.
- Maintain a regular cadence of pricing performance reviews and strategic updates to ensure the impact of pricing initiatives is understood and acted upon.





Measures of Success Success in this role will be measured through the effectiveness of Xe's pricing strategy and its contribution to sustainable commercial growth across APAC, including:

- Revenue & margin performance: Contribution of pricing strategies to agreed revenue and margin objectives across Consumer and SME, in partnership with segment leadership.
- Customer acquisition & conversion: Pricing strategies that support improved customer acquisition, quote-to-transaction conversion and first-transaction performance.
- Customer value & retention: Pricing initiatives that contribute to increased customer wallet share, transaction frequency, retention and cross-sell of new products.
- Market competitiveness: Clear understanding of competitor pricing, market positioning and opportunities to improve Xe's performance in priority verticals, ICPs and corridors.
- Experimentation effectiveness: A consistent pipeline of pricing hypotheses, experiments and evidence-based recommendations that inform commercial decisions.
- Pricing governance: Effective adherence to approved pricing frameworks, appropriate exception management and reliable pricing controls.
- Execution & reporting: Accurate and timely implementation of pricing changes, with reliable local reporting and clear visibility of pricing performance for APAC leadership.
- Cross-functional impact: Effective collaboration with segment heads, Marketing, global pricing and other stakeholders to drive pricing-related commercial outcomes.

Experience & Skills Required

- Significant experience in commercial pricing, revenue management, pricing strategy, commercial analytics or a related discipline, ideally within financial services, fintech, payments, FX or another transaction-based business.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing pricing strategies that support customer acquisition, conversion, revenue growth and customer retention.
- Strong understanding of pricing dynamics across customer segments, product propositions, transaction sizes, customer lifecycle stages and competitive markets.
- Experience analysing competitor pricing, market opportunities and customer behaviour to inform commercial strategy and identify growth opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to design, execute and evaluate pricing experiments, using data and evidence to inform strategic and tactical decisions.
- Hands-on experience working with pricing engines, pricing platforms or other systems used to configure and manage commercial pricing.
- Experience developing and implementing pricing governance, commercial controls, approval frameworks and pricing exception management.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with experience using BI and analytics tools, CRM and customer data, and other commercial data sources to inform pricing decisions.
- Proven ability to translate complex commercial data and market intelligence into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
- Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving outcomes in a matrixed organisation, without relying on direct management authority.
- Strong commercial judgement and attention to detail, with the ability to balance customer value, competitive positioning, revenue, margin and risk considerations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior regional and global leadership.
- Experience working across multiple markets or regions, ideally within an APAC or similarly diverse commercial environment.
