PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

Ensure that the corporation, and its Board, management and employees are complying with applicable legislative and regulatory obligations and that the corporation’s policies and procedures are being followed and that the behaviour of the corporation meets the Code of Conduct.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Leads the management and continuous improvement of a compliance management framework and policy management standard and

procedure framework and ensuring quality control and management of governance assurance framework.
- Provide leadership in enhancing the business’ no surprises culture, robust breach reporting and internal reviews and investigations, and

drives continuous improvement in compliance management.




- Leads the compliance performance reporting program and other review activities to achieve compliance with the Utilities Commission’s

compliance framework and reporting guidelines and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Independent reporting of the compliance performance of Power and Water to the Executive Leadership Team, the Board (via its Audit

and Risk Management Committee) and external stakeholders, including the Utilities Commission and other regulators where required.
- Implement, sustain and continuously improve Power and Water’s process management framework and preferred approach to quality
