Role Description The Principal Lawyer - hybrid - part-time role oversea proceedures and signing of legal documents.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in corporate and commercial law, including business structuring, governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in contract drafting, review, and negotiation for a range of commercial agreements and technology-related transactions.




- Experience designing and implementing legal processes that integrate with workflow automation and legal technology solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic legal advice to SMEs, startups, and tech companies, including risk management and dispute avoidance.
- Leadership skills to mentor and supervise legal professionals, manage matter workflows, and uphold high quality standards.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in accessible language.
- Solid client relationship management skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
- Current admission to practice law in Australia and a valid practising certificate; senior-level experience in private practice or in-house roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with legal tech platforms, automation tools, and digital document management; interest in innovation in legal services.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage part-time workload, and handle multiple matters with attention to detail.
