You'll be working alongside our printer and helping keep production running smoothly day to day. This is an entry-level casual position starting at 2 to 3 days per week, with the opportunity for more hours and responsibility as the business continues to grow.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting the printer with production and job setups
- Reclaiming, cleaning and preparing screens
- Loading and unloading garments
- Catching and stacking printed garments
- Preparing jobs and garments for production
- Packing and finishing completed orders
- Keeping the print shop, equipment and work areas clean and organised
- General workshop and production duties
- Learning the screen printing process from start to finish
About you
- Has a genuine passion or interest in screen printing, clothing, design or the print industry
- Is reliable and turns up ready to work
- Has good attention to detail
- Enjoys hands-on work
- Isn't afraid of physical work or getting their hands dirty
- Takes pride in keeping their workspace clean and organised
- Can follow instructions and use their initiative
- Wants to learn and develop new skills
- Works well as part of a small team
