**About the team The Chief Procurement Office forms part of the Enabling Solutions Group and leads TMR's centre-led procurement function. We partner with business areas across the department to deliver value-for-money outcomes, manage procurement risk and strengthen procurement excellence through strategic sourcing, contract management, governance, policy development and capability uplift.
The Procurement Customer Support Team provides customer focused procurement advice, guidance and practical support to business areas across TMR. The team helps stakeholders understand procurement requirements, navigate relevant systems and processes, and deliver compliant and efficient procurement outcomes.
About the role
As a Procurement Advisor, you will provide accurate, consistent and timely advice to internal clients on procurement policies, procedures, systems and processes. You will respond to procurement enquiries, work collaboratively with stakeholders and support the resolution of procurement-related issues.
You will assist with a range of procurement activities, including procurement planning, sourcing activities, procurement documentation, market engagement and supplier interactions. You will also support the effective use of procurement systems and processes and contribute to continuous improvements that enhance the customer experience, strengthen compliance and improve procurement outcomes across TMR.
This 12-month temporary opportunity provides the chance to broaden your procurement experience while contributing to an essential customer support function within TMR's Chief Procurement Office.
What you will bring To thrive in this role, you will demonstrate:
