About 776BC
Founded by two-time Olympian and Olympic Silver Medallist Cameron McKenzie-McHarg and Kate McKenzie-McHarg 776BC makes performance apparel with the same intensity, passion and desire to achieve success as an athlete.
We engineer gear for athletes first, as we know athletes wear gear the hardest. Our 'athlete centred' design process is unique, engaging athletes from the start of the development process to provide ongoing feedback on prototypes.
Our promise is to never stop evolving improving and innovating. To consistently delivery world leading apparel for when you're training, playing and winning.
776BC. Built for Athletes.
The Role
Keep product development and production moving through organised sample management, accurate product information and proactive factory follow-up.
You’ll coordinate samples, submissions, approvals and outstanding actions, ensuring the team knows what’s on track and what needs attention. As a consistent on-site contact, you’ll keep agreed work moving when the Head of Product is off-site and escalate issues before they affect delivery.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Product, Production Lead, Graphic Design Lead, Marketing and Sales teams, and offshore suppliers. This is a hands-on coordination role; technical approvals and final product decisions remain with the relevant leads.
This role suits someone early in their career with some industry experience who enjoys variety and wants to see how performance apparel goes from concept to customer. You'll be involved in every stage of the product lifecycle, from first prototype through to bulk delivery, working alongside the people who lead each part of it.
The variety within this role is deliberate. The role is designed as a launchpad. As you build your skills and find where your strengths lie, we'll support you to grow towards the part of the business that excites you most, whether that's product development, technical design, production, quality or sourcing. You'll build a well-rounded foundation and a clear path towards the career you want.

- Keep product systems, trackers and production files accurate and current.
Quality Support
- Check incoming samples,
strike-offs and PPS against current tech packs and approved references, recording colour, print, measurement and construction differences.
- Carry out random bulk inspections at head office against the agreed standard and escalate failures to the Production Lead the same day.

- Maintain inspection checklists, measurement records and approval documentation; follow up agreed corrective actions.
- Log complaints referred by Growth, Sales and Customer Service, and provide a monthly summary of recurring faults by supplier and style to the product and production leads.
Final technical approvals and decisions to accept, rework or reject product remain with the relevant product lead and Production Lead.
