Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Product Manager role based in the Melbourne (Sydney considered).

The Product

Manager will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through prioritization, roadmap planning, and delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with engineering, design, data, and customer-facing teams to define product features, write clear user stories, and ensure timely, high-quality releases. The role involves conducting market and competitor research, engaging directly with customers and internal stakeholders to validate problems and solutions, and using data to measure product performance and iterate on features.

Manager will also help shape product strategy, align initiatives with business objectives, and contribute to go-to-market planning and enablement.

Qualifications

- Product management skills, including roadmap development, requirements gathering, and user story creation.
- Experience in P2P or spend management software (Ariba, Coupa, SAP, Zip, Zycus, Ivalua, Basware or similar) will put you ahead.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across engineering, design, and go-to-market functions.
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making, including experience with product metrics and experimentation.
- Exposure to FinTech, finance & procurement operations, or B2B SaaS products, ideally supporting CFOs, CPOs or finance and procurement teams.
- Ability to conduct customer and stakeholder interviews, synthesize feedback, and translate insights into product improvements.
- Clear, concise communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in agile or lean product development environments and familiarity with contemporary product tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, curiosity about AI and data-driven solutions, and comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment.
