About the Role
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Production Assistants to join our night bakery team in Dandenong South on a casual basis. This is a hands-on role supporting the production of our fresh bread and pastry products. You'll work as part of an experienced bakery team and assist with a range of production tasks to help keep the bakery running smoothly.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist with bread and pastry production including weighing ingredients, mixing, scaling and baking support
- Assist with general bakery production tasks as required
- Follow established production processes and instructions
- Handle and move ingredients, trays and bakery products
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Keep production areas clean, organised and safe
- Work efficiently as part of a fast-paced night production team
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
About You
We're looking for people who:
- Are reliable and punctual
- Enjoy hands-on, physical work
- Can work effectively in a fast-paced production setting
- Are comfortable standing for extended periods
- Have good attention to detail
- Can follow instructions and established processes
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Previous food manufacturing, bakery or production experience is highly regarded but not essential
Availability
Our bakery operates 7 days a week, so flexibility with your availability is important. This is a night shift position, and successful candidates will need to be comfortable working overnight hours.
Casual hours may vary depending on production requirements, with the opportunity to work regular shifts for the right candidates.
