Production Operator
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. Working closely with the Production Manager and production team, you will be responsible for supporting the safe, efficient and consistent manufacture and packaging of our products.
This is a hands-on role within a quality-focused manufacturing environment, suitable for someone with robust attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production, manufacturing and packaging equipment in accordance with approved procedures.
- Carry out manufacturing activities including weighing, dispensing, blending, filling, packing and other production processes as required.
- Follow production schedules, batch manufacturing instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Complete production and batch documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform routine in-process checks and report any quality or production issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of production areas, equipment and workstations.
- Perform equipment cleaning and basic setup/changeover activities.
- Follow GMP, workplace health and safety, hygiene and quality requirements at all times.
- Assist with receiving, handling and movement of raw materials,
packaging materials and finished products.
- Support stock counts and inventory control activities where required.
- Work collaboratively with Production, Quality and Warehouse teams to achieve daily production requirements.
- Report equipment faults, deviations or potential quality issues promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to improve production efficiency, quality and workplace organisation.
- Perform other production and operational duties as required.
About You
You are dependable, safety-conscious and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You have strong attention to detail and understand the importance of following procedures and maintaining accurate records.
Previous experience in pharmaceutical, complementary medicine, food, cosmetics, FMCG or other regulated manufacturing is highly regarded but not essential, as training can be provided.
You should be comfortable with physical production work, working as part of a team and following strict quality, safety and compliance requirements.
Expected hours: No more than 38.0 per week
