MGM Bulk Pty Ltd (MGM) has recently commenced a new operation at McPhee Creek, and we're growing a high-performing team to support this major project as it continues to ramp up.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to support operations at the McPhee Creek Project. This FIFO role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, site-based workplace and enjoys being hands-on, accountable and part of a close-knit project team.
Reporting to the Site Manager, this role provides frontline operational leadership to loader operators and site-based personnel, ensures the safe and efficient loading of MGM Bulk haulage fleets, and acts as the daily operational interface between MGM Bulk and Hancock Iron Ore (HIO) at the McPhee Creek Project.
Success in this role means clear ownership, strong teamwork, and helping continue to establish “how we do things” at McPhee Creek.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the safe,
efficient and compliant operation of the McPhee Creek ROM stockyard and loading activities.
- Provide frontline supervision and leadership to loader operators and site-based personnel.
- Ensure safe loading of MGM Bulk haulage fleets in accordance with approved procedures and site requirements.
- Monitor production targets, loader utilisation and truck turn-around times, escalating issues as required.
- Enforce MGM Bulk and HIO safety standards, MSMS requirements and WA Mine Safety legislation.
- Lead pre-starts, toolbox talks and task-based risk assessments, exercising stop-work authority where required.
- Act as MGM Bulk’s on-site interface with Hancock Iron Ore for ROM and stockyard operations.
- Ensure personnel competency, VOC compliance and safe mobile plant operation within the ROM.
- Manage interaction risks between loaders, haulage fleets and light vehicles.
- Complete accurate production, safety and shift reporting and contribute to continuous improvement
About You
- Strong understanding of ROM stockyard operations and bulk haulage loading activities.
- Demonstrated experience supervising mobile plant operators in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
- Working knowledge of: Loader productivity and safe loading practices,
and Heavy vehicle interactions, exclusion zones and traffic management
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills in a customer-facing, mine-site environment.
- Ability to balance production delivery with uncompromising safety and compliance standards.
Essential Requirements
- Loader competency (VOC) – desirable but not mandatory
- Experience operating or supervising front-end loaders in a ROM or stockyard environment and/or mine-site Load & Haul supervision
- Schedule 26 (WA Mining Supervisor) required (MGM will provide training where required)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Full Australian working rights
