Camco Engineering is a leading provider of manufacturing, maintenance, and refurbishment services to the mining, power generation, oil & gas, and heavy industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team.

This is a hands-on role suited to a technically minded professional with a strong background in machining, fabrication, welding, and mechanical refurbishment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing projects from enquiry through to completion, including estimating, contract review, client liaison, production planning, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate estimates, quotations, and project execution plans
- Liaise with clients to understand technical and contractual requirements
- Review specifications, drawings, and manufacturing requirements
- Manage projects throughout the manufacturing and repair process
- Monitor project budgets, labour hours, materials, and delivery schedules
- Coordinate purchasing activities and supplier engagement
- Work closely with Workshop Management to plan production activities
- Provide technical support and engineering solutions where required
- Review contracts, quotations, quality documentation,



and manufacturing records
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying new business opportunities

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Relevant engineering qualification, trade background, or extensive workshop experience
- Proven experience in project management and estimating within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of machining, fabrication, welding, and mechanical refurbishment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Strong commercial awareness and customer focus
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
