Project Manager for review of Accreditation Standards
Contract position, one day per week until April 2028 and a half day per week May – December 2028 (working remotely, with versatile work arrangements available)
- Ensure accreditation standards are reviewed and updated
- Contribute to high quality and culturally safe occupational therapy care for the public

About the Occupational Therapy Council of Australia Limited The Occupational Therapy Council of Australia Ltd (OTC) is the independent body appointed by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia as the accreditation authority for the occupational therapy profession under the terms of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2009 (National Law).
The OTC develops and reviews accreditation standards for entry-level occupational therapy programs of study in Australia. We work with education providers and apply the accreditation standards to determine whether programs of study meet the required standards.
Project focus The Occupational Therapy Council of Australia Ltd (OTC) is undertaking a review of the current Accreditation Standards for Entry-Level Occupational Therapy Education Programs (December 2018) (‘the Standards’), which came into effect from 1 January 2020. The current review is to ensure the Standards continue to be aligned with contemporary benchmarks and expectations in the occupational therapy profession and the broader health sector, are easy to use and remain appropriately focused on public safety.
About the role The Project Manager will take a central role in the review and update of the Standards ensuring that the Standards remain contemporary and evidence based.
Skills and experience
Applicants are required to have knowledge of program accreditation and the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme; project management skills, sound capacity for stakeholder engagement and consultation, and research and evaluation skills.

Remuneration
- The contract position is remunerated at a rate of $110 per hour, inclusive of superannuation.
- The engagement is based on the provision of services for:
(i) Development: 7.5 hours per week until the end of April 2028, resulting in total remuneration of $825 per week
(ii) Implementation: 3.75 hours per week from May 2028 to mid -December 2028, resulting in total remuneration of $412.50 per week To apply:
