What You’ll Do
Based in Brisbane within our Midstream and Energy Solutions (M&ES;) Business Unit, this role is responsible for supporting the delivery of fit-for-purpose, sustainable, and industry-leading Project Data processes and systems, with a focus on productivity improvement and cost optimisation.
Key Accountabilities Include
- Supporting and enabling projects to deliver compliant Project Data implementations, including Maintenance (e.g., SAP master data) and Engineering (e.g., MyPlant data)
- Enabling projects to deliver maintenance builds that are ready from 'Day 1' — linking Reliability & Maintenance objectives with project delivery
- Supporting, stewarding, and assuring the handover of Project Data from Projects to Operations in accordance with Operational Readiness processes
- Managing technical queries and data issues associated with Data Management within the region
- Providing quality assurance leadership for Maintenance and Engineering Data implementations in accordance with business requirements and rules
- Leading the operationalisation of standards and processes for Project Data management within the region, and supporting others to embed these ways of working through the asset lifecycle
- Developing and supporting fit-for-purpose Project Data resourcing solutions to support data builds, driving quality, consistency, and business value
- Leading the operationalisation and continuous improvement of Project Data management solutions (e.g., Omega PIMS) and digitised design solutions within projects (e.g., Hexagon Design Tools)
- Undertaking Project Data build quality assurance reviews and audits
- Managing contractor activities including auditing and governance
What you’ll bring This is a specialist role that requires strong technical data management experience within a project environment.
You Will Bring
- Solid industry experience in Engineering and/or Maintenance Information Management, gained within Operations, Engineering, and/or Projects
- Demonstrated experience managing data and deliverables across the asset lifecycle — from project execution through to operational handover
- A strong understanding of how project data supports Reliability & Maintenance outcomes and operational readiness
- Experience leading or contributing to data standards, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives within a project context
- Proven ability to manage contractor performance, including auditing and governance activities
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across diverse project, engineering, and operations teams
- Relevant Trade, Project, or Master Data Management qualifications
- Experience with the SmartPlant suite, Omega PIMS, Hexagon Design Tools, and/or SAP (EAM) will be highly regarded
- A degree in a related technical field (e.g., Engineering, Design, IT) is desirable
