Ampcontrol is expanding its Critical Power capability to support the delivery of complex electrical switchgear and critical power projects across the Australian data centre industry.

We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to develop, manage and report on project schedules across the full project lifecycle, from engineering, procurement and offshore manufacturing through to local assembly, FAT, logistics, site installation, commissioning and handover.

Working closely with Project Managers, Contracts Managers, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics and Site teams, you will provide accurate scheduling information to support project delivery, identify risks and delays, and ensure key contractual milestones are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain integrated project schedules from contract award through to completion.

- Manage schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Establish milestones, dependencies, critical paths and project baselines.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, FAT, freight, installation and commissioning activities.
- Integrate offshore manufacturing and international logistics with Australian project requirements.
- Monitor progress against baseline, identify delays and develop recovery schedules.
- Prepare schedule reports, dashboards,



look-ahead programs and milestone reporting.
- Support variations, Extension of Time and delay assessments with accurate schedule information.
- Coordinate schedules across manufacturing facilities, suppliers and project sites.
- Interface with principal contractors, electrical contractors, clients and other project stakeholders.
- Identify schedule interfaces and constraints across electrical, mechanical, controls and other disciplines.

About You You will have experience in project scheduling within a complex engineering, manufacturing, construction or EPC environment, with robust knowledge of:

- Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Critical path and dependency management
- Manufacturing and international logistics
- Offshore manufacturing and supply chains
- EPC or design-and-construct projects
- Contractual schedule management and Extension of Time assessments
- Microsoft Excel and Office 365

A qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, Planning & Scheduling or a related discipline would be advantageous. You are highly organised, commercially aware and proactive, with the confidence to challenge unrealistic program assumptions and develop practical solutions to keep projects on track.
